Prices are in UK £ sterling. We are VAT registered in the UK.
Your credit card company, at prevailing rates of exchange when applicable, may make a currency conversion to UK currency.
You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of your order.
All orders are made subject to acceptance by you of the site’s terms and conditions.
Once we accept your order you are bound by these terms and conditions.
Fulfilment of the order is subject to availability and acceptance of your order, at our discretion. Handmade Scissors Ltd is under no obligation to fulfil your order.
No contract will subsist between you and Handmade Scissors Ltd for the sale by it to you of any product unless and until Handmade Scissors Ltd accepts your order by e-mail. That acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time Handmade Scissors Ltd sends the email to you (whether or not you receive that e-mail).
Any reliance you place upon any Materials or Products will be at your sole risk and it is solely your responsibility to ensure that the Materials and Products meet your requirements.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Orders for items in stock should be despatched by us as soon as possible, depending on work holidays and current finished stocks. Occasionally waiting lists occur for specific products – we do try to keep stocks constantly replenished, but we may have to hand-make your item from the blanks in stock and this can take a little time. We will to keep you informed of any delay.
- Click & Collect
We offer a free click and collect service from our Workshop in Sheffield. Once the Click & Collect order has been placed, you can pick the goods directly. We will be open between 09:00 and 14:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Please bring either a print out or an e-mail confirmation as proof of purchase. Click & Collect orders will be kept in the showroom for up to 2 weeks. If you are unable to pick up your order within 2 weeks period, please notify us and we will make arrangements for later delivery.
- Delivery in the UK
We deliver with 2 working days to all UK postcodes which includes Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands, IOM and the Channel Islands. All products are insured and specially packaged to ensure peace of mind. You can track and trace your parcel.
- Delivery in Europe
We deliver in the following European countries after we secured payment: Norway, Switzerland, Croatia, Turkey, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Romania, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Andorra, Austria, Gibraltar, Greece, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Vatican City.
Delivery will be between 5 and 7 working days. All products are insured and specially packaged to ensure peace of mind. You can track and trace your parcel.
- Delivery in the Rest of the World
We deliver in the following countries Worldwide after we secured payment: USA & Canada, India, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, South Africa, Algeria, New Zealand, Australia, Brazil, Uruguay, Mexico. If your country is not featured in this list online orders can still be shipped out, once you have placed an order with us,

All international orders are not duty paid and may incur additional charges once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel and failure to do so can result in delays. It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order. For parcels returned to us due to customs charges being higher than expected, we reserve the right to refund the transaction minus all costs incurred.
